The mission of Gemmate Technologies s.r.l. is to innovate existing products and make new ones from science and technology advances.  From early research developments, new potential businesses are gauged by developing and mastering key enabling technologies, and the due actions to have them started up are carried out.  From initial laboratory results, Gemmate Technologies scales up the key enabling technologies and conceives and develops implementation plans to manufacture the assessment prototypes and business plans to pave the way for product development and commercialization.  The main goal of Gemmate Technology is to spin out novel product-making companies to extend the holding and its profit.

Role of Gemmate in the HEDAsupercap project: 

To apply this approach to the HEDASupercap project, GEM will bring its team’s expertise in modelling, design, and assessment and validation methods. From its significant commitment to research and innovation, GEM develops high-end technologies to increase the added value of its products. GEM will lead WP2, responsible for defining specifications and standards of supercap cells and modules. Moreover, GEM will take a leading role in Life Cycle Assessment (Task 6.1) and actively contribute to current collector development and materials modelling (Tasks 3.4 & 3.7) and cell prototyping (Task 4.4).
